Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving. Wan Chai mixes the office towers around the Convention and Exhibition Centre with old markets and tenement buildings, and nearby restaurants get busy during big trade fairs.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ As someone who enjoys value-focused sports cars, I always look for the right balance between brand prestige, performance, and overall ownership experience. McLaren has consistently offered strong value within the top sports car segment, and my experience at the Wan Chai showroom truly reflected that. I’ve always been drawn to bold, attention-grabbing cars — I’m more of a “show-off” collector than a purely technical driving enthusiast. Initially, I was very interested in the 600LT, which perfectly fits my usual taste: aggressive styling, raw performance, and serious road presence. It’s the kind of car that makes a statement the moment it arrives. However, after spending time with the team and exploring the range, I decided to go with the Artura Hybrid. I wouldn’t call myself a pure EV fan, but I wanted to try the new technology and experience something beyond my usual collection. The Artura still carries the McLaren DNA I appreciate, while introducing hybrid innovation that feels like the future. What really stood out was the professionalism of the staff. They were knowledgeable, patient, and most importantly, not pushy at all. They gave me space to explore, answered all m

This team won't do all. This was the worst experience I had in Hong Kong. A young staff member kindly told us we could look around the store, but then an older employee came out and rudely demanded to know if we were going to buy a car, before practically throwing us out. Even though we were a group of foreigners with a child, he kept an arrogant and condescending attitude as he pushed us out. There were McLaren F1 championship collectibles and other interesting items on display, but we didn’t get to see a single one. This was the only place in all of Hong Kong where we encountered such rudeness. If you want to experience being treated poorly and made to feel unwelcome just because you might not spend money, this is the perfect place to visit.

Lovely showroom, friendly staff, great cars. Just nice when I came, there was the Senna GTR, Senna LM and the P1 which is all owned by a collector.

At the street level of Hopewell tower, you'll find the McLaren showroom. Here you'll find the latest McLaren Supercars. Each McLaren is custom to its owner so you'll get the full purchasing experience here with their trained professional staff.

One of the best places to "Dealer Car spot" as there is a McLaren rotation frequently. I found McLaren Artura, McLaren GT and even a McLaren 620r There! Amazing!
