A convenience store branch of M&S adjacent to the escalator/moving walkways that go from Central Market to the Mid-Levels. Convenient for popping into to buy something, or get a quick snack & coffee on the way up or down.

Renovated and moved to the upper floor, swapped with the kids and lingerie part. A brand new bakery corner with freshly baked bread and coffee. A combo of $42 coffee+barkey is quite reasonable and tempting. Coffee with a regular promotion 4 get 1 free.

This M&S is smaller than the branch by the MTR, but it’s well-stocked and has everything you need. The store is clean and well-organized, and the staff are consistently friendly and very helpful. They carry some harder-to-find items in the area, like bagels, charcuterie meats, and certain cuts of meat, which makes it a convenient stop for specialty groceries. However, I’ve had some issues with the exchange policy. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to return spoiled produce, which was disappointing. Most recently, I purchased a pack of bell peppers only to find large patches of mold inside. I hope the store will consider revising its exchange policy for perishable items to maintain the quality and trust customers expect.

The food store was renovated recently. Bread and coffee were freshly made. Price was moderate. Set meals were available, which offered a discount on coffee. There were some stools for diners along the window side, which allowed a quick breakfast or lunch. The electricity sockets were free to use. Besides dining here, shopping for other food was also enjoyable. More self-service counters were installed. The number of wines and fresh fruit and vegetables were also increased.
