I bought the Eureka NEY100, a wet-vacuum cleaner for cleaning carpets. (In Europe Midea is known as Eureka) new from a clearance retailer. (First mistake) The device has an operating time of about 10 minutes (depending on the ambient temperature), after which it switches off automatically and has to cool down. This is not mentioned anywhere. If I had known this beforehand, I would NEVER have bought it. The area that can be cleaned with it is therefore quite small. Depending on the carpet, you can perhaps manage one square meter if you are quick, before you have to take a half-hour break until the device has cooled down enough to allow you to continue vacuuming. The design of the device is also less than optimal. There are no two switches... The pump for the cleaning fluid and the vacuum are NOT separate. This means that while you are spraying the carpet, valuable vacuuming time is already being lost because the device is running hot even though you are not vacuuming, but spraying first. After eight months, the hose near the handpiece has now torn, even though I always treated the vacuum cleaner with care and wound up the hose as recommended. Since this hose is under pressure, th
