I ordered cha siu rice with egg, which already costed me around $50, but it doesn’t include any drinks. I accidentally ordered take away while I was trying to dine in, in order not to cause extra trouble, I simply told the staff to give me plastic utensils that are washable so I could eat in with the Takeaway container, but the staff responded ferociously saying that take away orders, no matter how cannot be eaten dine in. Now, this made sense, but I was just trying to cause less nuisance to them, and they practically just gave themselves a whole new trouble. The staff also responded with no respect on me and my child us. Staff glared at my child who was looking with innocent eyes. The potions were large and the food was tasty despite all the trouble.

Maxim's MX, situated at Mongkok East station, enjoys a prime location that is convenient for travelers both before and after using the MTR. Accessing the restaurant requires navigating stairs to the first floor, which may be a minor inconvenience for some. The space is relatively small, leading to packed tables and a bustling atmosphere that reflects its popularity. While the food is generally satisfactory, it does not stand out in terms of flavor or presentation. Prices are reasonable, making it an accessible option for a quick meal. However, the dining environment leaves much to be desired, as cleanliness can often be an issue, detracting from the overall experience. Despite these drawbacks, Maxim's MX remains a go-to spot for those seeking a quick bite in a busy setting.
