I recently discovered this shop inside the Peninsula Hotel and am thrilled to be able to buy quality Italian products here in Hong Kong. The staff is friendly and professional. I will definitely recommend it to my friends.

Terrible service from multiple staffs, both cashier and the cheese counter. Ridiculous place. I asked how much half of the cheese was. The staff cut it in half first and then told me how much. I think it’s too much so I asked for a smaller size. Then the female staff told me rudely that I had to buy it because it’s already cut. It’s forced purchase. I didn’t say I want to buy half. I was just asking for price. Another ridiculous thing : The space for cashier is small. After paying, I tried to put the items into my bag. I was holding the items and the cashier literally pushed my hand away, telling me I blocked the next customer. How am I supposed to put things into my bag?? I almost dropped the items to floor because she pushed me. These staff do not serve customers. They treat them as burden and have zero attitude. You pay to get yell. Avoid this place at all cost.

As a hotel guest of the Peninsula Hotel, I leisurely ran into this store as it’s located inside the Peninsula arcade. I was amused by the varieties of Italian products that are made available in HK and took quite a number of photos as an amateur photographer. The store has a few customers and I make sure I did not interrupt their purchases. However the store does not appreciate visitors who “look more than buy” and definitely shows in their body language and tonality of the conversations. In any event, as a store located within a prestigious hotel, I found this behaviour not acceptable.
