North Point is part of the Eastern District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving. In North Point the trams run right through the stalls of Chun Yeung Street market, and the area has many long-standing Fujianese and Shanghainese shops.

Very nice place to play 😊

Momoland is a relatively compact but packed indoor playroom. While it isn’t massive compared to some mega-playhouses across Hong Kong, it makes smart use of its footprint by cramming in a surprising variety of activities. The playhouse features a solid selection of steep, fast-paced slides that feed into a massive ball pit. There’s a great little addition packed with classic arcade machines, racing games, and shooting simulators that are great for keeping kids engaged. A major hit for toddlers and smaller children, featuring a hand-cranked rainbow train loop which is my kids’ favorite. However, the admission fees lean toward the higher side considering the physical footprint of the venue. A major drawback for local and visiting parents is that they accept cash only for walk-ins and a mandatory HKD 200 security deposit. Given the size of the venue, children will likely exhaust the novelty within 1.5 hour max.

I’ve been visiting this kids’ indoor playground for a couple of months now. Entering and exiting the facility is very simple using a QR code. They have a good variety of things for the kids to do. The playground is padded all over so it’s pretty safe. The facility is kept clean overall, and the games and toys have been refreshed once during that time. The new addition of the racing game in the playground area is an additional fee which doesn’t feel as worth it. They have also even expanded into another shop, but access to the additional area comes at an extra cost. Overall, the staff does a decent job tidying up the area after the children leave, but their attitude isn’t very friendly. They tend to show little emotion towards people and even little children.
