Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Wan Chai mixes the office towers around the Convention and Exhibition Centre with old markets and tenement buildings, and nearby restaurants get busy during big trade fairs.

Not what I expected. Price relative to other steak options discovered at a later date. Would I go there again, perhaps not. I’d favor a special week day spacial discount in Flat Iron over it. Will cost a bit more, but deliver a highly atmospheric setting.

It’s pretty much self serve, you select your meal and pay at the machine at entrance, then find a seat and get the food from the bar, including rice, soup, salad and sauces, the meat will be served to your table. The value of money here is great, though it’s not the best of meat they offer here, but it’s pretty good for a budget steakhouse. There wasn’t any time limit during my time there.

Great place to eat if you're hungry as there's unlimited self-serve salad, soup, and rice. You order what selection of meat you want and they'll bring it to your table. They have lunch selections for under $70.

The all-you-can-eat salad bar, rice, and soup offerings are a fantastic value-add, allowing you to customize your meal to your liking. The self-service setup is incredibly convenient, and I loved how every table was available for seating. This place offers amazing quality steaks at a very reasonable price point, making it an excellent choice for a solo diner. The combination of the high-quality steaks, the abundant complimentary side dishes, and the efficient, hassle-free dining experience make this hotstone steakhouse a true standout.
