In Hong Kong several kinds of work need qualified people: plumbing on the fresh-water supply should be done by a Water Supplies Department licensed plumber, electrical work by a worker registered with the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department, and minor works such as air-conditioner supporting frames may fall under the Buildings Department's Minor Works Control System. Ask for a receipt or completion certificate and keep the warranty details. Ask about inspection fees and a quote first; some shops still charge for the inspection if you decide not to go ahead.

Google lists the opening hours as Mon–Fri open 24 hours, Sat 10:00–15:00, Sun closed. It is open 6 days a week. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. You can call 7777 1111; a phone call is the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or how to get there. As this is a mobile number, a WhatsApp message may also work. More information is on its website, support.oppo.com.

It shows 1.0 out of 5 on Google, but from only 2 reviews, so treat it as a first impression rather than a verdict.

Sha Tau Kok is part of the North District in the New Territories. The New Territories are made up of new towns such as Sha Tin, Tsuen Wan, Tuen Mun, Yuen Long, Tai Po, Sheung Shui and Tseung Kwan O, where malls are often linked to MTR stations or transport interchanges, making everyday shopping and eating easy. There are also walled villages and countryside, and country parks and trails, including the MacLehose Trail, run through the area, popular for hiking and cycling at weekends. Hong Kong has more than a dozen public holidays a year; around Lunar New Year, Easter, Mid-Autumn and Christmas many businesses change their hours, and some small shops close for three to seven days over Lunar New Year.
