When choosing a pet shop or pet service, look at hygiene, staff experience and the full price list, and ask whether they take pets of your animal's size or breed. Public transport limits what pets can travel, so check how you will get there, or use a pet-friendly taxi or van service. Before buying a pet, consider its lifespan and needs, and whether your building allows pets.

Google lists the opening hours as Mon closed, Tue–Sun 11:00–20:00. That makes 6 working days a week. It also opens on Sunday, though hours may differ on public holidays. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. Phone: 2342 2688. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. Its website is petpetexpress.com, which may show prices, details of what it offers or online booking.
