Very nice experience. The hike to go there is not for beginners. I sweat quite a lot on the Wilson trail. This campsite is also a meeting point for many hikers doing the MC Leose. Good spot when there are people around otherwise you might feel a bit lonely in the middle of nowhere with monkeys and wild boars turning around!

Decent area. Reasonable space. Connected Maclehouse Trail 8 and Wilson Trail.

This is a campground and rest point between the MacLehose Trail Section 7 and 8. The Wilson Trail Section 7 passes through this location as well. You'll find pavilion and shaded spot to sit and rest. There are public toilets and water refill stations as well.

You need to complete this trek for the sake of it. You would want that badge. Wun Yiu to lead mine pass. Turn left from the camp site to the junction of grassy hill and needle hill. Turn for grassy hill and then come back for needle hill. Please make sure you go extra meters to get the maxim view the trail offers. Last half KM stairs to needle hill tests your guts.. you can descend from the other of needle hill after having the breathtaking view of the height.. and it just gets better in the last legs of trail from needle hill to Shing Mun reservoir. Of course the sunset at the reservoir is priceless. Be sure that you will find monkeys at your way to bus stop.. brilliant, amazing, outstanding!
