R & B Tutorial Centre, a tutoring centre in Mong Kok, Yau Tsim Mong, is at 九龍旺角 Kwong Wa St, 48號廣發商業中心512室. Before heading over it is worth checking the hours, phone number and Google rating below, so the trip is not wasted. The address puts it on an upper floor, so note the floor and unit number; some buildings ask visitors to register at the lobby, and lifts can be slow at busy times.

Tutoring and hobby classes are busiest around exam season (before the HKDSE, for example) and in the summer holidays, so enrol early for popular slots. Ask about materials and registration fees, get receipts, and avoid paying a long course in advance in one go. Treat promises of guaranteed passes or school places with care, and get any terms in writing.

Opening hours: Mon–Sat 09:00–17:00, Sun closed. That makes 6 working days a week. Many small businesses close for a few days around Lunar New Year and may shut early or not open during typhoons and black rainstorms, so check the latest news before you set off. You can call 2715 8980; a phone call is the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or how to get there. Its website is facebook.com, which may show prices, details of what it offers or online booking.

It shows 2.0 out of 5 on Google, but from only 4 reviews, so treat it as a first impression rather than a verdict.

Mong Kok is part of the Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. Mong Kok is one of Hong Kong's busiest shopping districts: Tung Choi Street (the Ladies' Market) and Fa Yuen Street (Sneakers Street) are lined with small shops, and the buildings along Nathan Road hold countless upstairs shops.
