Kowloon is densely packed: Nathan Road runs north from Tsim Sha Tsui towards Prince Edward, lined along with its side streets by shops, restaurants and upstairs businesses, and most places are a few minutes' walk from an MTR station. Mong Kok's street markets, Sham Shui Po's electronics and fabric streets and Kowloon City's Thai restaurants are familiar landmarks for shopping and eating.
