Central is part of the Central and Western District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Central is Hong Kong's financial and business heart; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links the streets up the hill, Lan Kwai Fong and SoHo come alive at night, and the Central piers serve the Outlying Islands.

Had to see what all the fuss was about… and annoyingly, the hype is justified. Finally tried the famous Pistachio Latte at Roasters, Central — rich espresso, cold milk, a thick layer of pistachio cream and crushed pistachios around the rim. It’s creamy, nutty and unapologetically indulgent, but the espresso still comes through enough to stop it becoming dessert in a cup. And the ambience helps. Stylish, relaxed and very Central — the sort of place that makes you want to linger rather than grab-and-go. Breakfast at Tiffany’s no longer cuts it. Apparently, it’s Pistachio Lattes at Roasters now overlooking Loro Piana Definitely not an everyday latte. More of a “I deserve this” latte. Roasters, you got me. 🌰☕️

Finally, a place that does caviar breakfasts in town! ✨ The caviar Rosti was my favourite, and the salmon Rosti was also really good. They were out of black caviar, but they recommended the king crab omelette🦀 my friend said it was so soft and he loved it. Definitely sit by the windows if you can; it makes a big difference in the atmosphere. The servers are super kind too, and I love that every time I order tea, it comes with biscuits. 💛

Was here for a light lunch on a weekday. They have seated restaurants and casual seating area. Tried their ham and cheese croissant, lemon tart and matcha latte. Croissant can be reheated and the pastry was still crispy. Did not try their coffee as all seems over priced.

Just ordered the Tiramisu Latte at Roasters and honestly, it was amazing. ❤️ It’s not too sweet, which I really appreciate, and the flavors are so well balanced. You can actually taste everything - the espresso, milk, cheese foam, and chocolate. Huge shoutout to my barista Daisy who made it. She absolutely nailed it and the drink looked great too. The whole experience felt really nice 💜 ☕ If you’re stopping by Roasters and want something a little different but still super easy to drink, definitely try this drink. It’s so good.
