5/5 ⭐ Excellent lunch at Ruên Thai & Vietnamese in TST! Sheila’s service was awesome — they promptly swapped a dish after we found a hair, and staff stayed attentive even while I worked on my laptop. Loved the lunch set with unlimited cold drinks (easy swaps between milk tea, iced tea & coffee). Chicken pâté toast and garlicky morning glory were delicious add-ons. Pretty rustic decor, comfy sofas, open bar and cute patio. Great happy hour value. Will definitely return! So happy to have discovered this place.

Ruên Thai & Vietnamese in Tsim Sha Tsui offers a refreshing Southeast Asian dining vibe with a bright, cozy setting that’s perfect for a casual meal or catch-up with friends. The presentation is clean and inviting, and the overall atmosphere feels relaxed yet stylish. We started with the Roasted Chicken, which had a nicely crisped skin while keeping the meat tender and juicy inside. The seasoning was well-balanced, not overly salty, making it easy to enjoy. The Grilled Tilapia was another highlight — perfectly cooked with a slightly smoky aroma, and the fish remained soft and naturally sweet, complemented by fragrant herbs and sauce. For mains, the Pad Thai Prawn was a solid choice. The noodles were stir-fried to a good dry texture, and the prawns were plump and bouncy. The flavor struck a nice balance between sweet and tangy without being overpowering. As for drinks, the Young Coconut was light and refreshing, great for cleansing the palate, while the Pineapple Juice tasted fresh with a pleasant sweet-sour profile that paired well with the richer dishes. Overall, Ruên delivers consistent quality with lighter, cleaner flavors, making it a great option when you’re craving Thai-Vietn

Positioned right along Mody Road with options for both cozy indoor seating and breezy outdoor tables, the restaurant captures a relaxed, resort-like dining vibe. It is equally suitable for casual weekday lunches, romantic evening dates, or relaxed gatherings with friends by the promenade. 🐟 Steamed Barramundi with Plum Ginger and Minced Pork A subtle Teochew-Thai fusion style dish. The barramundi is cooked perfectly—moist, flaky, and delicate. The broth, enriched with salted plum, julienned ginger, and seasoned minced pork, strikes a refined balance between tangy acidity and savory richness, enhancing the fish's natural sweetness without overpowering it. 🍳 Nasi Goreng The rice grains are well-separated, coated in sweet soy sauce (kecap manis), shrimp paste, and aromatic spices. Typically served with a fried egg on top, chicken satay skewers, and crispy prawn crackers, it delivers a satisfying mix of savory depth, sweetness, and varied textures in every bite. 🍗 Pik Ki Yang Grilled Chicken Wings inside remains tender and juicy, served alongside a sweet-and-sour tamarind dipping sauce that cuts through the richness nicely. 🐖 Spicy Thai Stir-Fried Pork with Fragrant Holy Basil Leav

Stepped away from the midday rush and found myself in the most gorgeous lunch oasis today… 🌿☀️🥢 The moment I walked in, I fell in love with the vibe. It’s a beautiful semi-open concept space, dripping with charming Southeast Asian retro aesthetics 📻🌴. With the natural breeze flowing through, it felt like a mini holiday right in the middle of the day! But as beautiful as the decor was, the food stole the show. Here is how our lunch feast went down: 🍗 Pik Ki Yang (Grilled Honey Glazed Chicken Wings): The smoky, sweet aroma hit the table before the plate did! Insanely tender and juicy, paired with the perfect chewy warm sticky rice. 🍯🍚 🦆 Ped Yang Sod Ma Khawn (Crispy Roasted Duck): Absolute perfection on a plate! The presentation was stunning ✨. The skin was crispy, but the real magic happened when dipping it into the tangy-sweet tamarind sauce—it moistened the duck meat beautifully, creating the absolute perfect texture. 🫘🥢 🥬 Pad Kha Na Pla Kam (Stir-fried Chinese Kale): If you love bold flavors, this is it. No tiny minced bits here—you get actual boneless chunks of savory salted fish. Every bite packed a flavorful punch! 🐟💥 🐟 Pla Paea Sa (Steamed Barramundi): The grand finale!

🦐Shrimp Roll $108 A generously sized rice paper wrap packed with big, juicy shrimp that feel incredibly refreshing. The shrimp are wonderfully springy and bouncy, perfectly balanced with crisp radish, rice noodles and cucumber for a satisfying crunch. The rice paper itself has a soft, slightly chewy bite that adds another layer of texture—this dish is a real mouthfeel experience. 🦀Thai Yellow Curry w/ Garlic Bread $188 The curry is expertly seasoned, delivering a rich, well-rounded flavor that feels warm and comforting. Every bite is filled with tender crab meat, making it feel indulgent and luxurious. The garlic bread is deep-fried to a golden crisp, with a savory garlic aroma that’s hard to resist—definitely a standout pairing. 🫕Hotpot Clams $158 The broth is beautifully sweet and clean, letting the natural seafood freshness shine through with a subtle hint of coconut. The coconut meat is cooked to a pleasantly chewy, tender bite, while the clams are plentiful and generous in portion. It’s a deeply satisfying dish that tastes bright, fresh and truly comforting.
