I had a suit tailored at Sam’s Tailor and I’m absolutely impressed. The shoulders fit perfectly, the waist is nicely defined, and the trousers fit better than any others I’ve ever worn. The fabrics are beautiful and very well matched. Roshan Melwani and his team nailed it. The suit was measured Wednesday morning and ready after the second fitting on Friday. The consultation was super friendly, competent, and attentive. Highly recommended!

Sam Melwani started his tailoring business in 1957 is what I read, but I went here to meet Roshan (Sam’s grandson) because I enjoy his videos online and wanted to tell him so he keeps at it. He’s a natural entertainer. The suits were out of my range but when I met Roshan and told him how much I enjoyed his videos, he decided to make a suit for me anyway and it is a beauty. I love it. On the first fitting it was close to perfect but slight adjustments were requested and it was perfect the next day! I will need to start finding occasions to wear it on a regular basis now. They do great work here and my suit is entry level for them. They are high end tailors and make great stuff. Celebrities, Public Officials and Royalty get suits made here so you’re in good hands. Sam’s sons (Sham and Manu) are also still in the business. Very nice gentlemen and the staff are all great. They move quickly so be prepared for a ride when getting yours made but it’s a nice experience and I am glad I went. Now I have a top notch suit for special occasions. Thank you very much!

The only place to go!! Roshan has impeccable taste, does multiple fittings and makes your suit to fit like a glove! Sam’s Tailor has a beautiful selection of material - once you pick your suit material, then you customize the lining, buttons and every bit of design! We started on a Monday, finished on Wednesday and then wore on Thursday (see pictures of how beautifully the suit fits). This is my first suit with Sam’s and hope they’ll be more! Thank you thank you again Roshan!

I was in need of a new suit this January 2025 and I heard Sam had the best tailor shop in HK. I wasn't disappointed. The service is exquisite, they give out a very good IPA while you wait. They have an excellent selection of fabrics for suits and shirts and they can make it to your size, your fit, laser accurate. I have had suits tailored in the USA and Europe and none have come as close to my dreams as the one I bought from Sam's. In a month or two, I will be ordering again mail order, tariffs be damned! Even with the added expense, they will still be a bargain and among the best in the world. I can wait to come back next time I'm in TST! Save a beer for me, Sam!

Sam’s Tailor did a wonderful job! I’ve wanted a bespoke suit for a long time, so when I was in Hong Kong I visited several tailors. I met Tarzan and he was able to quickly put together a great suit idea that was exactly what I wanted. I came back later that day for a first fitting, and then I traveled for a week and when I came back the suit was done and fit perfectly. But not only did I get an amazing suit, and also got to meet and talk with the amazing people at Sam’s Tailors. Talented, fun to talk to, great stories, and they even have their own beer! What’s not to like? Seriously, it’s the best suit I own and I will be coming back again to get more the next time I visit. So, what’s to like? Tarzan designed a suit with peak lapels, ticket pocket, Tom Ford style cuffs, surgeon’s cuffs with embroidered last button, vent straps, button stays, embroidered name, secret pockets, and everything. The details and attention to quality is outstanding. I feel like a million dollars when I wear it, or dare I say James Bond? He also recommended I go to the Ozone bar to try it out and that was amazing. These guys are classy and will you make you look great. I was much more impressed with his
