Central is part of the Central and Western District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Central is Hong Kong's financial and business heart; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links the streets up the hill, Lan Kwai Fong and SoHo come alive at night, and the Central piers serve the Outlying Islands.

Terrible. I never write reviews and after reading the past couple of reviews it feels dubious. I was ignored three times at the counter as I wasn’t ordering fast enough for the lady serving. I was already taken back by the prices of food but the reviews were good so I wanted to give it a go. I ordered two Coke zeros and was surprised they were HKD $30 each. I called the lady over and expressed my surprise at the very expensive prices and I said I hoped the food would live up to it. That got me a 20+ minute wait and included her getting a group of six people food first that turned up after me. Food portions were very small, greasy and although it was pleasant, it wasn’t amazing. Maybe not even “good” $407 hkd for one bagel, one sandwich some fries and two cokes. Criminal. I wouldn’t warn anyone off them as I’m a firm believer in trying stuff yourself but I would encourage you to start leaving reviews when places are this bad!

bagel was off. First of all, size smaller than a shrunk McDonald burger. Smaller than my palm. Secondly, though the outside of the bagel was on point, the inside dough was plain and soft and dense, not as chewy as a legit bagel should be. Thirdly, the fillings (salmon and onions) were very little. Not worth the price nor were the bagel good. The Ruben sandwich is better, on point, but also not the best.

Tried the new Berlin Schnitz ($165) after seeing the collaboration with Heimat by Peter Find. Had big expectations, but unfortunately, the chicken schnitzel was a little dry. Oh well, I shouldn’t have expected Michelin quality at a bagel spot. The latke fries & homemade curry sauce were fantastic though! Thanks to the server for giving me a small portion on the side to dippy-dip my fries into.

Absolutely fantastic meal! The menu offers the perfect balance of sweet and savory. The French toast was wonderfully fluffy, dusted with powdered sugar, and beautifully presented with fresh bananas, blueberries, and a side of perfectly crispy bacon. Highly recommend pairing it with one of their fresh, loaded bagel sandwiches!" The bagel sandwich was packed with generous layers of fresh meat, juicy tomatoes, and crisp lettuce. The real star for my sweet tooth, though, was the French toast—perfectly golden and drenched in syrup. Washed it all down with a refreshing iced coffee. 5/5 stars!"

Love the atmosphere and the food there! Their Loxy Lady bagel sandwich is amazing 😍 Dr. Cosman’s Sandwich is so special with pastrami. Absolutely refreshing coleslaw that my friend and I both enjoyed a lot! Very attentive and generous service that we appreciate so much. It’s the kind of place you wanna spend the afternoon and wanna come back again and again! Amazing window seat too, try to sit by the window if you can. My favourite genre of jazz music too with a good speaker. 🥰👏🏻
