Many Hong Kong restaurants add a 10% service charge to the bill, and tipping beyond that is optional. Popular places fill up at lunchtime and on weekend evenings, so book by phone, WhatsApp or a platform such as OpenRice; some set a time limit or a minimum spend. Most offer both dine-in and takeaway, and Octopus, credit cards, FPS and PayMe are widely accepted, though smaller places may take cash only. Dim sum restaurants usually charge a per-person tea fee, and dishes are priced by size; weekend mornings from about 10:00 to lunchtime are the busiest, and many places give out queue tickets. Book wedding and birthday banquets months ahead.
Google lists the opening hours as daily, 11:00–22:00. It opens every day of the week. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. Phone: 2725 9118. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first.

Sham Shui Po is part of the Sham Shui Po District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. Sham Shui Po is known for the electronics and second-hand stalls of Apliu Street and the fabric and button shops around Ki Lung Street and Yu Chau Street, where many older shops still prefer cash.

Last time I went they charged me $70Hkd for goose on rice take away. This time they charged me $73hkd different price than last time… ok I’m guessing it’s a bigger portion so let’s go with it… What I had is below: 50-60ish woman with glasses making “give me” hand gesture to give her money twice as I was finding the $3hkd change in my pocket. I already had the $70hkd out and there is no one behind me. Edit: after reading other reviewers such as from ‘Eric k’ ‘Johnny tang’ and ‘jubilee’ I guess I’m not the only person who thought it was not crispy, bad attitude and the goose you get is mainly bones and fat. I happen to experience all three during my takeout order. Please read other reviewers if you don’t believe me.

A typical foodie shop orders still written by a Cantonese speaking attendant with little English. Food is abundantly served with friendly prices. Cold Coca-cola is at HK$ 9 per can. Combination goose and pork dishes are at HK$ 73. Very friendly people in this shop. Will bring my tourist friends. No waiting.

Been coming here for decades. The roasted meats here are sublime. Eat-in experience has evolved over the years, and now has great aircon and shared long tables. For me, Sham Shui Po is miles away from my stomping grounds, but I'm still more than happy to schlep the journey for the best 燒味飯 siu mei in town! An easy recommendation. Eat heartily!

One of the best roast goose places in Kowloon side. Fast, friendly, and reasonably priced. The soup is amazingly delicious. Portions are massive but you can share. Would highly recommend and gladly repeat.

Probably one of the best roasted goose restaurants in Hong Kong because of the great tasty geese and the massive portions. A huge plate of roast goose and rice will only run you $64 HKD. Although this place isn't the most comfortable and honestly not the cleanest, their food is top notch. I always try to come here whenever I'm in the area and have to get my roasted meat fix.
