Tsim Sha Tsui is part of the Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. The Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront has the Avenue of Stars and the Cultural Centre, Star Ferries cross to Central and Wan Chai, and the area is full of hotels, malls and restaurants.

Singapore Airlines Let Us Down I am extremely disappointed with the way Singapore Airlines handled our journey. There was no communication, no apology, and absolutely no sense of responsibility. The behavior was unprofessional, unethical, and showed no humanity or empathy. Our flight from OR Tambo was delayed — we were supposed to depart at 19:50 for a 10-hour flight. Nobody communicated the reason or offered any updates. When we finally landed in Singapore, our connecting flight to Hong Kong was long gone. The ground staff handed us two documents and informed us that we would now have to wait at Singapore Airport until 16:30 to fly to Bangkok, then wait another 2 hours before finally flying to Hong Kong. We landed in Bangkok at 19:39 and were told we would only fly out at 20:45, and its 21:35 we we started boarding , arriving in Hong Kong at 1:30 a.m. and that time is now delayed my new taxi i had to book iam hoping that we will not lose that money — after almost two full days of travel with a 9-year-old child. I have Ankylosing Spondylitis, and my medication was in my checked luggage. I was in severe pain — my feet were burning, my hands tingling with pins and needles, and I

Worst experience. I came with the papers prepared for my husband’s visa to Singapore,The woman didn’t even know the english words and the meaning of this symbol “/“ which basically means “or” and ruined the application with her mistakes, for example she didn’t even look at the place of birth on the passport and assumed it is the same country of origin of the passport, when I corrected her and told her that the information is correct she didn’t like it , then she ruined the address and refused to listen that there that the application is giving you the option to give the origin country or the current residence. Of course as I am applying on behalf of my husband, I had to get his signature for the stupid notes that were all wrong or to fill the application again-of course I went to a different agent and didn’t bother to come back. The woman was very rude and took an hour to check the application that she didn’t know how to read.

Our agent told us to pick up the processed visa over the weekend, but the agency was closed when we stopped by. So we had to pay a hefty sum to rebook our flight to wait for the office reopening. A even bigger letdown was the front desk ladies’ complete unwillingness to help. They barely acknowledged us when we knocked on the glass door entrance, and showed zero interest to hear us out as we stood outside, trying to explain the urgency of our situation. For a moment, we thought the room was sound proof as they didn’t react at all. Turned out it was just them ignoring us. After a few minutes of pleading, one lady finally opened the door (reluctantly) to tell us (dismissively) that there’s absolutely nothing they can do (so hello? You can hear us after all). To top it off, immediately after returning to her seat, that lady began making discriminatory remarks about us being “mainlanders” with undesirable traits, and joked about it with her colleague. This whole time we never raised our voice or acted rude, EVER. We were simply confused, and wanting to get the two ladies’ attention as we’d miss our flight otherwise. The sheer lack of empathy with a side of bias and contempt was the l

Recently appeared here for Singapore tourist visa, I would suggest to go through document check-list mentioned on their website and prepare documents accordingly before going to the application centre in-order to save the time. It was busy during 12 to 2 PM and I waited approx 2hrs to submit the application. But after submitting the application received my visa on time (within week), So all good except the waiting time, staff was also helpful for clarifying/resolving queries related to visa application.
