About Tak Sing Garage

Tak Sing Garage is a car repair garage in Tai Hang, Wan Chai, at 香港島大坑銅鑼灣道46號G/F. Locals and visitors alike tend to check the same things before going, so this page brings together the practical details: where it is, how to get in touch, when it is open and how customers rate it.
Parking is scarce, meters and car parks in the urban areas are expensive, and most accept Octopus or e-payment; most toll tunnels now use the HKeToll system. Many repair and detailing shops are inside industrial buildings or car parks, so book ahead and ask where to leave the car. If your car is under warranty, ask whether servicing outside the dealer network affects it.
Opening hours: Mon–Fri 09:00–18:00, Sat 09:00–15:00, Sun closed. It is open 6 days a week. Many small businesses close for a few days around Lunar New Year and may shut early or not open during typhoons and black rainstorms, so check the latest news before you set off. You can call 2890 9688; a phone call is the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or how to get there.
Customers give it an average of 5.0 out of 5 on Google (6 reviews), a high score by any measure.
Tai Hang is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving. Most businesses use Cantonese, English is widely spoken in business and tourist areas, and many shops can also serve customers in Mandarin.
