Under Hong Kong law, businesses may not sell or supply alcohol to anyone under 18, so bars may ask for ID. Many run happy-hour deals in the early evening, weekends are the liveliest, and some venues have a minimum spend or a cover charge; for live music or private events, ask for details first.

Many small businesses close for a few days around Lunar New Year and may shut early or not open during typhoons and black rainstorms, so check the latest news before you set off. Phone: 3481 7290. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first.
Customers give it an average of 4.5 out of 5 on Google (417 reviews), a high score by any measure.
Central is part of the Central and Western District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Central is Hong Kong's financial and business heart; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links the streets up the hill, Lan Kwai Fong and SoHo come alive at night, and the Central piers serve the Outlying Islands.

Earned a free drink, ordered a wine and a beer but they insisted the cheapest was free. Odd, as if I’d just ordered the most expensive drink on its own it would have been free. Having the server whine about it being closing time whilst looking for our loyalty card was not cool. I’ve tried to make an effort to support this bar but think the cheap-skate mentality has ended that. Poor.

A new bar, they sell their own draft beer and it's pretty good. Kind and efficient service, prices quite reasonable. Recommended

The Beer Bay has a branch at Pier 3 (Discovery Bay ferries). Quite a few draught and bottle beer, cider, wine and cocktail options and a few light bites. Good spot to grab a beer, go sit on the promenade and enjoy a cold one on a hot day.

This kiosk facing the harbour sells a plethora of microbrewery beers at very reasonnable prices. (there was a special on IPA beers 25 HKD per bottle when we visited). They also had a few beers on tap available. The place doesn’t offer seats, but patrons sit in the steps nearby or stand near the edge of the water. Great spot for a cheap brew with a view.

Great beer and music. I liked their selection of beer on tap and the music playing in the background. Variety of beer is quite big, depending on taste and preferences. Reccomend for a pause after work or before the ferry
