When choosing a café or dessert shop, look at whether prices are shown, whether plant milks or less-sweet options are available, and whether there is a time limit on seats. Many open seven days a week, but some small shops take a weekly day off; for cakes or large orders of pastries, calling ahead is the safest bet. Dessert shops are liveliest in the evening and some stay open late; ask for insulated packing for frozen takeaways.

Google lists the opening hours as Mon 12:00–23:30, Tue–Sun 12:00–24:00. It is open seven days a week. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. Phone: 2662 6890. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. More information is on its website, sweettooth.hk.

Mong Kok is part of the Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. Mong Kok is one of Hong Kong's busiest shopping districts: Tung Choi Street (the Ladies' Market) and Fa Yuen Street (Sneakers Street) are lined with small shops, and the buildings along Nathan Road hold countless upstairs shops.

Visited on a weekend after getting my nails done nearby. The Pork Belly Carbonara was surprisingly delicious and flavorful, paired nicely with a smooth Latte. For dessert, the Chocolate Lava Cake with Cookie Ice Cream was a highlight—perfectly gooey inside and a great blend of hot and cold. A wonderful place for a relaxing girl's date!

We got a dragon fruit yoghurt and a chocolate lava cake. I enjoyed the latter the most, and if I pass by again, I would love to try the other dishes too! However, it turns out there was a 45 minute eating period which we didn't know about and we were hurried to eat one of the dishes that took 15-20 minutes to prepare. We didn't realize time flew by so fast, so although we felt hurried, it shows we had a good time there 😊

Arrived at about 8 pm, not so crowded. It's great that there are a lot of choices here. I have tried the mango ice-cream, which is tasty.
