Central is part of the Central and Western District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Central is Hong Kong's financial and business heart; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links the streets up the hill, Lan Kwai Fong and SoHo come alive at night, and the Central piers serve the Outlying Islands.

No one does it better than them, and at this price/quality ratio. Free ocha. Standing only. Really generous with the fish. This is where I bring people who aren’t that convinced about raw fish (so basically only tourists lol) cause they get to try good sushi without the commitment of an actual restaurant where they don’t know what anything is and are leery about it. I would go to war for their minced tuna and green onion roll. Fresh fish soup made from the day’s scraps and fresh oysters available too. Sometimes you catch them doing the tuna show. I find it quite dadaist and also hilarious when you show up and there’s randomly just a massive tuna on the table. Highly recommend :)

Quick Sushi Snack Fix Depending on the Time & Day a Solid Selection of Nigiri & Sashimi Market Fresh Whole Fish & Seafood Available A Small Area within the Shop for you to Dine if Needed

This place does regular tuna show on saturdays (but best check with them on availability) Show started promptly at 3.00pm, after the shop owner cut every thing up we were offered free tuna for tasting!! The tuna was so so fresh. We also bought other sushi’s in the shop after and have it along the high tables inside the shop. Everything was so so fresh - they probably do the best takeaway sushi / sashimi in town. It just brought back so much Tsukiji Market Memories 🙌🏻 Can’t wait for my next visit.

A small sushi takeaway that also offers limited dine‑in seating. The sushi is of high quality and reasonably priced, with sashimi that tastes fresh—noticeably better than what you’d find at most conveyor‑belt sushi chains. The only drawbacks are the cramped dining area and the relatively limited selection. Still, it’s a pleasant option for a quick, satisfying meal.

My go to for take away sushi. Sushi is always fresh and delicious. Sashimi is also incredibly good. They have some tables for dine-in and a great selection of Japanese drinks. Food is really top quality, it feels restaurant worthy but to take home.
