Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Wan Chai mixes the office towers around the Convention and Exhibition Centre with old markets and tenement buildings, and nearby restaurants get busy during big trade fairs.

V Wan Chai’s apartment is the perfect apartment when you need to stay in Wan Chai. Rooms are fine and well equipped. Mr Lee the on-site manager is just amazing. Always smiling and ready to help you find whatever you need. The major problem with the V administration is the huge challenge to get your safety deposit back. It's nearly impossible to get your money back. In my case, it's a one month deposit, over 20,000 HKD. I'm still waiting and it's now over 3 months. I'm visiting Hong Kong regularly and I guess i'll have to find an alternative...

Stayed there for a month, the room size was definitely smaller than it says on the website. The room was pretty bleak and obviously not maintained regularly. Mould on the ventilation, bathroom tiles grout and noticeable water leak marks on ceiling. Facilities were pretty dated and no Smart TV, meaning no YouTube and Netflix. House keeping only once a week. I always found hair in the bath, on new towel, bed sheet after house keeping. For laundry, it was not complimentary and you had to prepare your own detergent. We chose to stay there because we wanted to cook, but we were not comfortable with the cleanliness and setting of the room. So we didn’t cook at all. Most importantly, they took one month rent as deposit and supposed to return it within a month after check-out. Obviously we didn’t got the deposit after a month and there is no one to follow up. And you never got update and response. It was like taking to a black hole. After chasing them several times (with no feedback), we finally received the deposit after 2 months after check-out when I mentioned I would seek help fm police or other related authorities if I do not receive the deposit by certain date. Then I got the m

I love my stay here. Room is spacious 54sqm! Less service than normal hk hotels but I would trade for air. The hotel looks hard to find but it is actually on the same street as n.tel century. It is pretty much close to everything.
