This has to be one of the most expensive and scamming shop I’ve been to. A month ago my scooter stopped working so I took it to them to check out what’s wrong and after a day they told me my engine needed repair and that it would exceed 20k and I need to deposit 10k to begin repairs,so I took it to another mechanic which was further away so I had to tow it but I had no choice, and guess what it was fixed with 5k hkd but basically only 1k hkd as it was just a sensor issue and cables and the extra 4k was mainly tyres and new battery plus other stuff. This tells me one of the two things,either they’re the worst mechanics in hk or they’re just trying to scam your money so think twice before going here,also the other mechanic also told me this engine can run almost 2-3x its current mileage without any problem and so far it has been running smoothly without needing the 20k engine repair quoted by vetex. Also I forgot to add,I asked them about what was wrong with the engine and they didn’t give a reply back and when I told them that the other mechanic fixed it in 5k they didn’t reply either they just left it on read,that explains a lot. After using MACT-150 for two years I concluded that Hartford is the worst brand available in hong kong for motor bikes. 1.) Frequent break down of vehicle. 2.) Mostly spare parts are not available and take weeks to arrive from taiwan so you can't use bike during that period. 3.) Repair is very expensive and many times mechanics damage something while repairing and customer has to pay again to repair it which goes on and on. 4.) There is only one vendor of this bike so they have monopoly so they ask any amount for repairing it. 5.) Bike price is very low as compared to other brands which is like a honey trap. Once you buy the bike you would end up spending three times on its Matainence.

Bought a Hartford here. Elderly owner was really nice before I bought it. Huge hassle when I actually came back to buy. He wasn't there. Screw fell off on its own after riding less than 100 KM. Went back to pick up one. After warranty. Charged me 20HKD after arguing with me about it. I will not be back.
