About Vission Nine
New concept from Cookie Vission and Vission Bakery with a focus on Cakes, Pies, and other desserts!
Vission Nine is listed under bakeries & cake shops in Mid-Levels, Central and Western. The address is LGF, 9 Staunton St, Mid-Levels, Hong Kong Island. Below you will find what people usually look up before a visit: the exact location, contact details, opening hours and the Google rating.
Cafés, bakeries, dessert and drinks shops are often mainly takeaway with a few seats, and weekend afternoons are the busiest. Many accept Octopus, credit cards and e-wallets, and some run loyalty schemes or pre-orders; birthday cakes and festive boxes (mooncakes at Mid-Autumn, for example) usually need ordering in advance, a few days ahead on popular dates. Bakeries usually bake fresh in the morning and late afternoon, and popular items can sell out early.
Google lists the opening hours as daily, 11:00–21:00. It opens every day of the week. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. You can call 5545 6851; a phone call is the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or how to get there. It is a mobile number, and many local businesses also answer enquiries on WhatsApp. Its website is vissionnine.com, which may show prices, details of what it offers or online booking.
It has a Google rating of 4.1 out of 5 from 58 reviews. Opinions are mixed but broadly steady, and the latest reviews are the best guide to what to expect.
Mid-Levels is part of the Central and Western District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Hong Kong has more than a dozen public holidays a year; around Lunar New Year, Easter, Mid-Autumn and Christmas many businesses change their hours, and some small shops close for three to seven days over Lunar New Year.

I really love the Ube Coconut Cake. It's rich in flavor and authentic. And it's not too sweet. It's my new favorite. Worth the price I also recommend the coffee banoffee cake as well.

One of the best bakeries I've tried in Hong Kong. The cookies and cakes are something I will get again once I am back in the country. A must try if you are looking for desserts. Unfortunately there are only two standing tables to eat from. We ate quickly to allow others a chance to use the tables.

Sadly the cakes at vission aren’t as good as the pastries. Each slice of cake was very expensive firstly for what you get and each one tasted quite familiar and the texture of the cakes were more dense than fluffy so nothing special and outstanding compared to their other baked goods at the other stores. We paid nearly 200 HKD for two slices which we expected to be amazing based on the premium and the pretty looking cakes but unfortunately wasn’t the case. It was worth trying but would probably stick to their other branches!

Beautiful bakery selling some of the most delectable cakes we have ever had in Hong Kong or any other city or country for that matter. A little on the pricey side but once you have tried any one of their cakes you would know why. Definitely worth the extra moolah. Right across from another super popular bakery so remember to leave some room in your stomachs for a serving of their cake. You would be glad you did.

This is the third shop by Vission Bakery and is located just next to their traditional bakery on Staunton Street in Soho. Opening hours are 11am to 9pm daily. Instead of cookies and donuts, this branch focuses on cakes and cake slices which are displayed in the window for you to see and select before ordering. Note that there are a few small tables outside and some open space if you want to enjoy your Vission orders immediately upon purchase. Otherwise, be ready for take-away. Everything is packaged nicely for transporting back to your hotel or home. We've tried a handful of the cake slices since this new Vission Nine opened earlier this year. The chocolate slices are good, cheesecakes quite nice as well. Most enjoyed however have been the delectable signature pistachio log which is delicious and huge (be ready to share) and the coffee banoffee, a normal portion sized slice that tastes divine. They have a large selection of choices, visits are better if you are 2+ people so you can try a couple of different desserts.
