Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays.

I walked in into this establishment on one of my days-off. They offered me an appointment date that was just a few days in advance and I took the deal. On the day when I received the acupuncture treatment, the acupuncturist took a pretty comprehensive medical history from me, in particular how my body felt unpleasant. The taking of pulse in the TCM way especially swept off my feet. I was pleasantly amazed by the accuracy of his diagnosis. The acupuncture process was a bit tingling as expected. After the treatment, my pain symptoms were significantly relieved. Thumbs up and highly recommended. Acupuncture works well for pain management.

the Chinese medicine and acupuncture were far from satisfactory. I just didn't know why the acupuncture was so painful. The process was too long.My sickness was even worse than before...

This is a Hong Kong University accredited Chinese Medicine Clinic situated on the second floor of Tang Shiu Kin Hospital Building. It is also a training center for those practicing to become fully qualified Chinese Medicine Practitioners. So you can say it's a center staffed with very qualified professionals! What they also practice here is Acupuncture , or a branch of Chinese Medicine, which is a form of therapy, to do with sticking tiny needles on to invisible “meridian” lines supposedly coursing throughout the body, and then stimulating such needles by passing tiny electrical currents through the needles for about 20-30 minutes per therapy session. What is truly amazing of course, is the end result of such treatments: Previously incurable back pain, or spinal injuries, or sports related injuries to the knee or ankle may be restored, without further surgical intervention. On average a patient registers for a course of 10 sessions, and may have to repeat the same course several times before they are fully cured. Average healing can also be very much accelerated sometimes when combined with Acupuncture treatments which may be administered concomitantly in conjunction with weste
