About 灣仔郵政局
灣仔郵政局 is a post office or courier in Wan Chai, at 香港島灣仔皇后大道東197至213號2樓. Locals and visitors alike tend to check the same things before going, so this page brings together the practical details: where it is, how to get in touch, when it is open and how customers rate it. The address puts it on an upper floor, so note the floor and unit number; some buildings ask visitors to register at the lobby, and lifts can be slow at busy times.
Post offices, public libraries, community halls and telecom shops all keep different hours, and some open at weekends, so check before you go. Hongkong Post runs post offices and self-service iPostal Stations for sending and collecting mail, and a library card lets you borrow books and use the public libraries' e-resources. Check postage and restrictions on the Hongkong Post website before sending; courier firms often have self-service lockers for collection.
Google lists the opening hours as Mon–Fri 09:30–17:00, Sat 09:30–13:00, Sun closed. That makes 6 working days a week. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. Phone: 2921 2222. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. Its website is hongkongpost.hk, which may show prices, details of what it offers or online booking.
At 4.0 out of 5 on Google (60 reviews), it sits mid-table; the written reviews say more about service, prices and waiting times than the number does.
Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays.

I managed to buy the stamps before 5pm, just a few mins before closing time. The staff was very professional and helpful. I don’t know his name, but I would like to praise him because he knew the postage rates for many different countries very well. I also appreciate Hong Kong Post for being flexible and allowing senders to use stamps bought before, as long as the total postage amount was correct.

Wan Chai Post Office is located at 2/F, Wu Chung House, 197–213 Queen’s Road East, Wan Chai. It’s very convenient and easy to find. The post office is on the first floor, with Bank of China right on the ground floor below it, which makes the location straightforward for anyone visiting. The service was excellent. The staff at the enquiry desk had a strong command of English and communicated with me clearly. She helped resolve an issue with my I Am Smart app quickly and professionally. That level of support really made it a great customer service experience.

Organised, clean and quiet office. Staff spoke english and guided me very promptly and efficiently. Was a good and smooth experience. Place was bit busy during lunch hour however queue was fast moving so wait time wasn't very high.

A very smooth experience. Multiple counters were working, and didn't have to wait long. The processing at the counter was quick as well. There were a number of aids to assist with mail preparation, with one example being a self operated mail weighing machine.
