Causeway Bay is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving. Causeway Bay is packed with malls and department stores and is very crowded at weekends; nearby Victoria Park hosts the Lunar New Year fair.

Adding on to another fellow reviewer Rudy V, whom I went with to the gym for a trial class, I couldn’t agree more with Rudy’s comprehensive breakdown of the facility, though I firmly believe his review was far too lenient because this place is an absolute misrepresentation of martial arts and a predatory money grab designed to exploit people who don’t know any better. I was completely befuddled by a trial class that consisted of nothing but basic stretching, aimless shadowboxing, and a single, insulting minute of padwork with coaches who quite literally did not give a single shit. Their indifference was an active, suffocating energy in the room as they stood around like bored security guards waiting for a shift to end, eyes permanently glued to the wall clock, completely checked out while paying customers were left to stumble through hazardous technical errors entirely uncorrected. Throughout the endless shadowboxing blocks, people were throwing punches with zero hip rotation, dropping their guards open to counter-attacks, and executing kicks that could easily cause severe joint injuries, yet the instructors looked directly at these fundamental mistakes and chose to say absolutely

Disappointing experience—essentially just an expensive cardio class disguised as Muay Thai. If you are a fighter or anyone looking to learn proper technique, I would suggest looking elsewhere. The training feels geared entirely toward "cardio moms." For the high price they charge, the service and coaching are incredibly underwhelming. The coaches seemed completely disinterested, just watching us shadowbox for almost the entire lesson while waiting for the clock to run out. No one bothers to correct your form, making the session feel closer to a random dance class than authentic Muay Thai training. The padwork wasn't the absolute worst, but it desperately lacked variety and proper technical feedback. There were only three redeeming qualities to this gym: 1. The staff: The receptionist was genuinely nice and welcoming. 2. The facilities: They have a dedicated weights section for strength training, which is a great asset since many traditional Muay Thai gyms lack this. 3. The potential: There is an impressive young Thai kid there with professional fighting experience who was great to see. However, having nice equipment and friendly front-desk staff doesn't make up for a lack of r

I have finished 60 lessons (and still have 20 more to go) and should have my little say about this gym. There are good coaches, not all of them however. If you are unfortunate enough to be assigned a coach who doesn't care holding the pad properly, sometimes just for the sake of avoiding the full punching / kicking power of the student, you are the one who is injured! No rhythm, wrong distance. Do not recommend this gym because it will just burn out your passion of muaythai.

Highly recommend this place for Muay thai classes. Teachers are very passionate and the place is cool. The staff is friendly (except the cleaning lady in the ladies changing rooms). It is also super convenient to buy packages. You can also buy some equipments if needed at the reception.
