Washing Car Pa 洗車吧

Washing Car Pa 洗車吧 is a car wash and detailing shop in Kwun Tong, at 九龍觀塘雲漢街44 & 46號. Locals and visitors alike tend to check the same things before going, so this page brings together the practical details: where it is, how to get in touch, when it is open and how customers rate it.

Parking is scarce, meters and car parks in the urban areas are expensive, and most accept Octopus or e-payment; most toll tunnels now use the HKeToll system. Many repair and detailing shops are inside industrial buildings or car parks, so book ahead and ask where to leave the car. Car washes and detailers usually work by appointment, and coating or waxing can take hours or a full day.

Google lists the opening hours as daily, 10:00–20:00. It opens every day of the week. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. Phone: 6518 0949. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. As this is a mobile number, a WhatsApp message may also work. Its website is hkwashingcarpa.com, which may show prices, details of what it offers or online booking.

It has a Google rating of 3.9 out of 5 from 47 reviews. Opinions are mixed but broadly steady, and the latest reviews are the best guide to what to expect.

Kwun Tong is part of the Kwun Tong District in Kowloon. Kowloon is densely packed: Nathan Road runs north from Tsim Sha Tsui towards Prince Edward, lined along with its side streets by shops, restaurants and upstairs businesses, and most places are a few minutes' walk from an MTR station. Mong Kok's street markets, Sham Shui Po's electronics and fabric streets and Kowloon City's Thai restaurants are familiar landmarks for shopping and eating. Many Kwun Tong industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios; note the building name and floor, as access can differ in the evening and at weekends.
