Locals and visitors alike tend to check the same things before going, so this page brings together the practical details: where it is, how to get in touch, when it is open and how customers rate it. The address puts it on an upper floor, so note the floor and unit number; some buildings ask visitors to register at the lobby, and lifts can be slow at busy times.

When choosing a school or kindergarten, look at the school profiles, curriculum and fees on the Education Bureau's website and note open days and application dates. Primary One places are allocated through the Primary One Admission System and Secondary One places through the Secondary School Places Allocation System; before applying for a K1 kindergarten place you need a Registration Certificate for Kindergarten Admission. The school year generally runs from September to July. Many kindergartens open K1 applications in the autumn, and popular schools are competitive, so watch each school's dates.

Opening hours: Mon–Fri 08:00–17:00, Sat–Sun closed. It is open 5 days a week. Many small businesses close for a few days around Lunar New Year and may shut early or not open during typhoons and black rainstorms, so check the latest news before you set off. You can call 2571 7888; a phone call is the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or how to get there. Its website is victoria.edu.hk, which may show prices, details of what it offers or online booking.

It has a Google rating of 3.2 out of 5 from 9 reviews, which is on the low side, so read the most recent reviews before you go.

North Point is part of the Eastern District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving.
