When choosing a restaurant, check whether the menu shows prices and the service charge, whether you need to book, and whether there are vegetarian or children's options. Restaurants must hold a licence from the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department, usually displayed inside. Lunar New Year, Mother's Day, Christmas and New Year's Eve are peak booking times, and some restaurants offer set menus or add a surcharge on festive days, so ask ahead. Dim sum restaurants usually charge a per-person tea fee, and dishes are priced by size; weekend mornings from about 10:00 to lunchtime are the busiest, and many places give out queue tickets. Book wedding and birthday banquets months ahead.
Google lists the opening hours as Mon–Wed 06:30–22:00, Thu closed, Fri–Sun 06:30–22:00. That makes 6 working days a week. It opens on Sunday too, like most places to eat in Hong Kong. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. Phone: 2525 6878. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first.
It has a Google rating of 3.4 out of 5 from 150 reviews, which is on the low side, so read the most recent reviews before you go.
Sham Shui Po is part of the Sham Shui Po District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. Sham Shui Po is known for the electronics and second-hand stalls of Apliu Street and the fabric and button shops around Ki Lung Street and Yu Chau Street, where many older shops still prefer cash.

It’s traditional, old style and simple choices on the menu but it always satisfies. The beef one with green onion is very good.

We like here as staffs are nice … they share English menu once we take the seats 😬😬 Congee — hmmm… we had 滑雞粥 & 艇仔粥 but taste is really mild 🤦🏻♀️😅 腸粉 & 鹹肉糭 = ok 油炸鬼 = Amazing fresh and good. You can feel they use fresh oil and not over fire too 白糖糕 = Yummy !! Price fair and cheerful staffs. If you wish feel the local congee, here is one of your choice

Congee is great. I chose pork tripe and add-on minced beef. Fried noodles is okay. Super value of money.

A great local congee and oodles shop. Great food, cheap prices and reasonable portion. But don't expect good service and good environment from a local neighbourhood shop.
