West Kowloon is part of the Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon. Kowloon is densely packed: Nathan Road runs north from Tsim Sha Tsui towards Prince Edward, lined along with its side streets by shops, restaurants and upstairs businesses, and most places are a few minutes' walk from an MTR station. Mong Kok's street markets, Sham Shui Po's electronics and fabric streets and Kowloon City's Thai restaurants are familiar landmarks for shopping and eating. Hong Kong summers are hot and humid, and typhoons and rainstorms come mostly in summer and autumn; when the Observatory issues signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning, many businesses close until it is lifted.

Does not run to schedule. Beware if you want to connect to another ferry service (like all the others…) that do run on time.

Docking conditions at Central Pier 9 are poor. Disembarkation poses safety risks for children, toddlers, passengers with luggage or strollers, and elderly individuals. Lack accessibility

WestK Quay has potential but needs serious improvements. The waiting area is reasonably comfortable with decent seating, however the single-sided access and stairs create major bottlenecks during busy periods. The stairway access is particularly problematic for elderly passengers and families. The ferry vessel also appears dated with noticeable exhaust emissions affecting both passengers and those waiting on the pier. Overall, accessibility and vehicle maintenance require urgent attention.

The waiting area is ok, there are stairs to get on and off, not good for old people, will take forever when there are a lot of people. The seats are comfy. Getting to central is fast, just a few minutes, much better than taking other transportation

The boat they use is old and the smoke and pollution blows out onto the passengers and people waiting on the ferry pier. It's a health risk. This is also not wheelchair accessible. Really disappointing.
