喜跑 is a shoe and bag shop in Wan Chai, at 3/F, 137 Johnston Rd, Wan Chai, Hong Kong Island. Locals and visitors alike tend to check the same things before going, so this page brings together the practical details: where it is, how to get in touch, when it is open and how customers rate it. The address puts it on an upper floor of a building (an "upstairs shop", very common in Hong Kong), so note the floor and unit number; lifts can be slow at busy times, and some older buildings only have stairs.

Shops in Hong Kong keep long hours, many until 21:00 or 22:00, and mall shops usually open around 10:00. Keep your receipt: returns and exchanges are generally at the shop's own discretion, so ask before you buy, and for electronics check whether the item is a local-warranty model. If a dispute arises, the Consumer Council can advise or take a complaint.

Opening hours: daily, 11:00–20:00. It opens every day of the week. Many small businesses close for a few days around Lunar New Year and may shut early or not open during typhoons and black rainstorms, so check the latest news before you set off. You can call 3461 9792; a phone call is the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or how to get there. Its website is gone.run, which may show prices, details of what it offers or online booking.

Customers give it an average of 4.3 out of 5 on Google (222 reviews), a high score by any measure.

Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Wan Chai mixes the office towers around the Convention and Exhibition Centre with old markets and tenement buildings, and nearby restaurants get busy during big trade fairs.

I went in late January to get a 3D foot scan and my first pair of proper running shoes. Raymond was really kind and took his time to explain everything to me, even though I was a bit indecisive. I’ve been running in them for the past 5 months and am really happy with my purchase. So thanks again!

One of the best running shops in Hong Kong. The staff is always incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely willing to help. What makes the difference is that they are passionate runners themselves, so the advice always comes from real experience and care for the sport. Beyond being a shop, they are deeply involved in the Hong Kong running community through events, group runs, and constant support for local athletes. Every time you walk in, it feels less like a store and more like being part of a family

I booked a 3D foot scan & the sales attendant was attentive, talked me through the scan and when I had questions; answered clearly and in an easy to understand way for a newer runner. He also patiently waited for me to try on various pairs to make sure the fit was perfect. Being a heavier runner, I was a little nervous about judgment, but it was not a concern & the store offers a very professional service overall, and I felt comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

I had spent a lot of time looking for shoes suitable for someone with hallux rigidus. I found suitable shoes at Gone Running with the help of the knowledgeable sales staff. They know about the products and can help customers. I will be buying more shoes there in future. Please note that the business has relocated from the 16th floor to the 3rd floor.

You have to love a small business (any business actually) that has such passionate and professional staff that gets it. I'm not a serious runner, but Gone Running is always my first destination for shoes and gear. They offer straight up advice and understand your needs. Not a big store but there's a lot to discover every time.
