香港地產代理專業協會

香港地產代理專業協會, an estate agent in Central, Central and Western, is at 香港中環德輔道中173號南豐大廈9樓913室. Before heading over it is worth checking the hours, phone number and Google rating below, so the trip is not wasted. It is upstairs in a building, entered through the lobby rather than from the street, so check the building name, floor and unit before you go and allow a few minutes for the lift.

Property deals involve large sums: before signing a provisional sale and purchase agreement, do a Land Registry search to check ownership and mortgages, and budget for stamp duty, solicitor's fees and agent's commission. Renting usually means a deposit plus rent in advance, and the tenancy should be in writing and say who handles repairs; for new developments, the Sales of First-hand Residential Properties Authority publishes useful information. When viewing flats, you can ask the agent to show their licence card, and read every document before signing.

No opening hours have been published here yet; the Google Maps link on this page shows the latest details. Bear in mind that many small shops close over Lunar New Year and may not open while a typhoon or black rainstorm warning is in force. Phone: 2575 1260. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first.

No Google reviews yet, so a personal recommendation or a quick call is the best guide; many small shops still run on regulars and word of mouth.

Central is part of the Central and Western District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Central is Hong Kong's financial and business heart; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links the streets up the hill, Lan Kwai Fong and SoHo come alive at night, and the Central piers serve the Outlying Islands.
