My ten month old had to be hospitalized for one night. We had to go around 20:00 after our clinic found a room we could stay. The lady Cindy at reception was very helpful for the check in process. She went through all the details. She checked with our insurance company on the coverage. I had to pay a very large deposit but the day after the hospital called us to confirm reimbursement as they were able to receive confirmation with the insurance company. The doctor and the team were very attentive, patient and kind. We had to take an xray and the staff and nurse were very kind. Nurse Barrett (hope I am spelling it correctly) was exceptional. As parents we are so anxious about the process and result but she made me feel at ease being right by my side. She has immense knowledge and experience. My baby fell in love with her too. We cannot take for granted all the hard work the nurses go through and I thank her so much for all the support she gave us. Great hospital!

DO NOT come here for Orthopedic issues. Messed up a hip arthroscopy - a minimally invasive surgical procedure where a small camera (arthroscope) is inserted through tiny incisions to diagnose and treat joint problems inside the hip My young colleague had bone fragments in his hip to remove. A senior doctor misled him on the simplicity of the surgery. The surgeon proceeded to trim thickened lining in his hip instead of extracting bone fragments; and was found out post-surgery given no improvement in mobility by my colleague. The doctor then admitted during consultation to have "misread the x-ray" 😱🤯. He was charged HKD210k for the surgery. I feel compelled to put this here to warn patients who want to receive better treatment. He eventually found another doctor who charged HKD$230k but actually did what was meant to be done the first time. Talk about traumatic!

Have been here twice for treatment or diagnostic procedures and several times for seeing friends hospitalized. I have only had the most positive experience, from the quality of the medical staff, the responsiveness of the admin team, and the care of folks preparing meals. Across the board, their professionalism and kindness is remarkable. Just a superb team.

Went to get my haemorrhoid/fissure checked and their website said it costs $1500, but turns out the actual consultation charge I paid was $3000. FYI for this fee, I spoke to the doctor for less than 5 minutes while another 5 minutes was spent with him very roughly checking the area with seemingly no regard for myself. Ended up causing bleeding that previously wasn’t there and although the nurse was super nice and gave me tissues to wipe, she kept peeking in after less than a minute to see if I was done? Super rushed. Tried to see if surgery was necessary as well and the doctor said it’d cost around $25k to $35k — but he conveniently left out the operating theatre cost and when they sent me the final quotation — there was another $15k to $20k. Total ~$50k for a 30 minute surgery at most. Don’t go here for such issues unless you genuinely have no other options.

I got my surgery done in this hospital. Good experience right from the start, the hospital is clean and most of the health care staffs speak very good english. The doctors and nurses are very attentive and caring. Reducing 1 star because it can be very pricey.
