Tsim Sha Tsui is part of the Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. The Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront has the Avenue of Stars and the Cultural Centre, Star Ferries cross to Central and Wan Chai, and the area is full of hotels, malls and restaurants.

The exhibits inside catered to all ages. My family enjoyed exploring each floors. My grandparents easily found spots where they can rest when they got tired. The interactive pieces are a great addition.

I had been wanting to see this exhibition for quite some time and finally managed to visit on its second‑to‑last day. There was a short queue of about 10–15 minutes before entering, but once inside, the flow of visitors was well managed and it never felt overcrowded. The exhibition itself was beautifully designed and thoughtfully organised, making the experience engaging throughout. Considering that admission was free, the quality and standard of the presentation were truly impressive. Overall, it was a rewarding visit and I’m glad I didn’t miss it.

This is one place you do not want to miss when visiting Hong Kong. Try to give yourself a minimum of 3 hours as it has several floors and varying exhibits. It’s free so don’t worry about lines. Go around 5 pm so you can stay until it’s dark to step outside to see the lights from the island across the Victorian Harbour. It has a wonderful representation of Chinese culture and life. This is where you see one the historic collections of calligraphy art and it won’t disappoint. I’m a gardener so my favorite was the Art of Gardens East and West. I was engrossed in the variety and style of art depicting flowers and insects and the gardens across the world. I love museum shops and was so disappointed when we found out we stayed too long and the shop was closed. We think at around 8 pm. The museum closes at 9 pm. To be honest this museum became of my top 10 museums (Museum D’Orsay being the first).

This is one of the most impressive art museums I've visited. Every time I come back, there's something new to see, as the exhibitions seem to change regularly. The displays are always creative, engaging, and well-curated, making each visit feel like a fresh experience. If you enjoy contemporary art or are looking for an inspiring place to explore, this museum is definitely worth visiting more than once.

Allot at least a whole day to explore this gem of a museum. I only had two hours to explore all five floors of exhibits and try to imbibe all that explotion of art, culture, and history. Each floor has a unique art proposition, so it’s definitely for everyone. Free admission too, and if you are carrying bags, don’t worry, they also offer free lockers at the ground floor.
