Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Wan Chai mixes the office towers around the Convention and Exhibition Centre with old markets and tenement buildings, and nearby restaurants get busy during big trade fairs.

Famous pan fried bun place in wan chai. They have other outlets around hong kong. Then only time I tried this outlet in january this year, the buns we ordered arrived luke warm. Not piping hot as we expected. The noodles we had was alright, nothing fantastic as we're there for the pan fried buns/Dumpling. But was disappointed. Will give it another go when we're in wan chai again.

A hole-in-wall quick snack kinda shop - although I feel like you can make it into a proper meal with their options. We went with Classic and Spicy numbing buns. Be careful of juice splashing as you bite into it 🥲 (I’ve attached a photo for context) we also had noodles with the spicy and sour soup. All of it was 10/10. There are some high chairs but half of the shop is standing tables.

Best Pan-fried buns in town! This branch has less people lining up compared to their branch in Tsim Sha Tsui. Plus they have an area where you can dine! Quick service as well!

Delicious pork buns, fast and good for takeaway. Not much seats for dine-in. Prices were reasonable for the very good taste and serving size. I ordered the pork buns and the wontons in chili oil.

We were searching for the famous pan-fried buns after a long day at the Peak and decided to try out the buns in that place. My husband took some meat buns and I took the crab ones. The buns were really nice, although for meat you can choose 4 or 6 buns and crab goes only in a box for 2 buns (I’d choose more, they were really tasty). The service was nice. Maybe the should add mode places to sit inside, it didn’t look comfortable enough.
