I like neighborhood store. This one been around for decades. The most famous ones are Goose Leg or Duck Leg on rice with or without any other roast meat. This time, I ordered the Duck Leg with Siu Yuk on rice. Complimentary Soup of the Day. If you are backpackers or knowing the real HKers lives in a rough neighborhood….thus is your place because with the outdated renovation and not perfectly clean old furniture, you just come to enjoy the food.

Only chicken and roast pork left at 7.30pm. roast pork was cold and dry but the chicken was delicious. Try coming in the morning or afternoon

Entering to this HK BBQ place randomly, turns out to be a very good decision! On my way back to airport, and wanted to find a chasiu nearby Sham Shui Po area. This place is packed with locals — which is a legit tasty indicator! Uncle speaks minimal English; after I point and choose, a MASSIVE plate of rice + mixed BBQ passed on to my table. Not sure what I ordered (as I don’t understand Cantonese), but I believe this is a 3 Mix BBQ (char siew/sweet BBQ pork + sio bak/salty BBQ pork + duck BBQ) with double portion of rice. A little bit underseasoned for my Indonesian tastebud, but can fix it easily with soy sauce. Apart from that, you can really taste that everything is properly cooked. Charred caramel-y char siew, perfectly crackling sio bak and glass crispy skin on the duck. Perfect! Just beware of the portion, I will choose just the single rice for my next visit….. 3 Mix BBQ + Double Rice (HKD 52)

A Pei Ho Street landmark BBQ eatery. The service and food is top class. No one value this establishment more than the locals. The portions are huge and mouth watering. Highly recommended. Open from 5am -10pm.

good taste for it price, however the shop is nasty. floor and everything else are sticky. chef is smoking infront of the shop. the pork belly have crunchy skin and the roast duck leg is very flavorful
