The congee itself was good, but the service, especially from one of the female staff, was honestly terrible and really ruined the experience. She ignored us when we tried to get her attention, and even while we were waiting at the table, she was busy chatting loudly with someone in the kitchen. What really bothered me was that she greeted other Asian customers with “hello,” but didn’t say anything to us at all, not even a thank you. I definitely won’t be coming back!

Conventional noodle/congee shop. Okay food (especially when there were not many choices in the late evening) and “predictable” services. We had liver with rice vermicelli and congee, and soy sauce noodles; the latter was quite tasteless.

This is the second porridge place in Wan Chai along Hennessy Road I like to visit. This shop’s porridge is a bit plain compared to the other shop. But upon adding pepper and soya sauce the taste becomes better. I ordered the beef with pig blood porridge. There isn’t any beef porridge back home and pig blood is definitely non existent. 😆 So you can say I come to HK to eat the forbidden food. 😂😂😂. This shop even has lettuce in the porridge which I like. Saw a few regulars having the fried noodles. Perhaps next time I’ll have that with the porridge too.

The caveat to this review is I do not know if it is the weather because it is 12 as well as the fact that I am hungry even though I already had dinner This is Hong Kong so it is also quite natural to get carbohydrates. I therefore decided to give this place a visit I live around here but have never ever tried I would say that it is good and because it is walking distance porridge is actually passable if you add your own seasoning which they put in front of you you can add soya sauce sesame sauce pepper two different kind of chilli there's the typical Hong Kong chili oil as well as sauce. What I was most impressed with was actually the fried noodles. Have been craving for noodles and this seems to hit the spot.

The congee is quite watery... The fried noodles are nice, and not too oily. The shrimp rice rolls had very little shrimp inside, and the shrimp was limp and soft. Soy milk is nice Overall, we wouldn't come back again.
