God the toast is so good, just thinking about it makes me want to go back and order it again. The entire piece of bread is perfectly crunchy! Not too hard, and there’s a thick cut of butter right dab in the middle. The chicken was ok! Yummy and a great price, I can’t complain. The toast was the highlight of the show.

The chicken rice from the tea set was decent - nothing extraordinary, but satisfying. The water spinach was outstanding delightfully crisp. The iced lime water was excellent as well - refreshing and invigorating, perfect for a hot day like these day.

Have been here a few times for a quick bite, and when I craved for some curry. I dare say they do one of the best beef randangs, either with rice or a la carte. According to Mrs. the Hainan chicken rice set is also highly recommended. The side dishes are pretty average. Prices are very modest, and they offer a discount to seniors for takeouts. It is best avoided at peak lunchtimes, the place is supe crowded.

Asam Causeway Hay offers a pleasant Hong Kong-style cafe experience in Causeway Bay, known for its good sandwiches and excellent French roll bread with a light, crispy crust and soft center.
