You cannot go more local than this very long standing vegetarian restaurant. It’s very affordable and has an English menu. You can choose for a combo meal (a plate of rice topped with veggie of choice and soup of the day) or a la carte. Fast service, tiny seats, and friendly granny staff.

I came here because it was the closest vegetarian restaurant to my hotel. I’m glad I did, got the #8 combo which was very good and the price is great. The next day on my way to the airport I decided to stop by again and got meal A which was also pretty good. The person at the counter was very nice too. The only downside is the space is a bit cramped.

We had just landed in HKG and were in a nearby hotel. It was 15/20 minutes before closing and were desperate to eat a light meal. Luckily found this that was nearby. Had a bit of difficulty to ask which items had eggs (I believe most dishes were dairy free). Luckily a customer spoke English and she explained to staff. The restaurant had minimal dishes available as it was closing time. The Pumpkin, Chestnut and Tofu was good. Would have preferred a bit more seasoning and some spice. The Eggplant and Green Peppers dish was also similar but slightly better as it had a bit of soy sauce. The soup was provided was plain as well. Glad this restaurant was vegan friendly and they accommodated us. The inside is a bit cramped and clean. The place being older looking and small looked less OK. The staff kept it clean though.

It's a very economic local vegetarian restaurant. It provides lunch set with soup at $29 only! The option is not only rice with vegetables (碟頭飯) , but also fried noodles. No MSG added in the soup which is home made. The shop is really small. It provides simple meals to customers and would not expect customers stay there for long time. Actually, it's not a comfortable place for enjoying lunch and dinner.
