Food is not bad and good price

A brand from Cafe de Carol and offers food slightly different from its parent food chain. Food quality is fine in general. Servers/cleaners are trained to greet all incoming and outgoing customers, which might not look welcoming to some older generation (as they seldom greet back). But think about it, they don't charge you 10% extra for service and they still do that. I think it's a good start. (updated in October 2022) It was closed in September for renovation and was reopened in mid Oct. All tables, benches, and chairs are brand new. They even "hire" a robot to deliver meal to customer. It worked pretty well the first time I tried. It came right to my table. But as I was never told beforehand (at the counter when I placed the order), l didn't realize the meal was for me. Overall, it was a nice experience.

I have breakfast there almost daily when I am in town. Good taste. The congee getting smaller. $$

A bit crowded and noisy. Not enough air conditioning. Few changes to the menu. The dishes are still fine.
