Many Hong Kong restaurants add a 10% service charge to the bill, and tipping beyond that is optional. Popular places fill up at lunchtime and on weekend evenings, so book by phone, WhatsApp or a platform such as OpenRice; some set a time limit or a minimum spend. Most offer both dine-in and takeaway, and Octopus, credit cards, FPS and PayMe are widely accepted, though smaller places may take cash only. Dim sum restaurants usually charge a per-person tea fee, and dishes are priced by size; weekend mornings from about 10:00 to lunchtime are the busiest, and many places give out queue tickets. Book wedding and birthday banquets months ahead.

Opening hours: daily, 07:00–22:00. It opens every day of the week. Many small businesses close for a few days around Lunar New Year and may shut early or not open during typhoons and black rainstorms, so check the latest news before you set off. You can call 2505 8163; a phone call is the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or how to get there.

At 3.8 out of 5 on Google (142 reviews), it sits mid-table; the written reviews say more about service, prices and waiting times than the number does.

Sham Shui Po is part of the Sham Shui Po District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. Sham Shui Po is known for the electronics and second-hand stalls of Apliu Street and the fabric and button shops around Ki Lung Street and Yu Chau Street, where many older shops still prefer cash.

We bought our own fresh abalones from wet market nearby and just pay for the 加工费. Also tried their stir fry beef in claypot. Highly recommended!

is the perfect spot to enjoy Hong Kong-style Dim Sum 🥟 amidst the lively chatter and cheerful atmosphere 😊. There’s nothing particularly extraordinary here; the prices and quality are on par with other similar restaurants. The place gets crowded on weekends and public holidays 🗓️. The elderly waitresses and the strict management add to the charm that you eventually come to appreciate 😅.

We like the beef, fish and veggie dishes the most… The sweet and sour pork was very bad, we don’t know what we were eating !!! Omg

Firstly, I'm delighted to hear that the restaurant serves delicious food. This is a crucial factor in attracting repeat customers. In particular, I've heard that their salt and pepper abalone dish is perfectly seasoned with a delightful texture, which is highly anticipated. Secondly, the reasonable prices are a crucial consideration for most Hong Kong people, especially when it comes to dining out. Given that the cost of living in Hong Kong is relatively high, restaurants that offer reasonable prices are highly sought after. Thirdly, the cleanliness of the environment is highly significant, particularly in Sham Shui Po where many restaurants can be overcrowded and uncomfortable. A clean and hygienic environment would make guests feel more comfortable and more likely to return. Lastly, the need to make a reservation is a positive sign that the restaurant is highly popular, and there may be a large number of people wanting to dine there. This is excellent news for the restaurant, but guests may need to plan their time and make their reservation in advance. Overall, based on the information provided, this Cantonese restaurant in Sham Shui Po seems like a must-try for anyone lookin

delicious food for a reasonable price, especially the deep fried squid (most of them are gone before picture are taken) and sweet and sour pork. Service are good. Definitely will visit again.
