Causeway Bay is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving.

I had a terrible experience with Dr Cheung, if only I read the reviews first before booking an appointment. I found him through my Blue Cross insurance and his attitude about it was mentioning how little it could cover for my medicine and I would have to pay out of pocket. Due to my financial circumstance I opted for the cheaper option he suggested in which would still be covered by my insurance package. In the end the pills were useless and the front desk nurses did not give me a receipt causing my insurance to not cover the bill. Not only that but the attitude coming from the doctor lacked empathy and seriousness in my concerns. I asked for a referral letter to get a brain scan as I’ve concerns related to my head but he was very adamant in writing me one. In the end he did but it was useless due to what he wrote on the paper as he worded it as not being a concern. He most likely did so just to get me out of the office and end the appointment as fast as possible…I also purposefully took leave from work that day because of a really bad migraine and he refused to write me a certificate of sickness, only an attendance slip. Overall I really do not recommend this doctor. The ethics an

I was experiencing severe flu symptoms and did not even request a sick leave certificate, but Dr. Cheung showed no compassion or empathy, which I would expect from a general practitioner. Instead, he seemed eager to dismiss me as quickly as possible, making fun of me and insulting me. I can't help but wonder if this is because I was using a medical card - does that mean I do not deserve the same level of care and respect? Dr. Cheung's behavior completely goes against the principles of the Hippocratic Oath. Not all patients come to a doctor's office just to obtain a sick leave certificate or take advantage of the system.

I have been coming to see this doctor on and off for over 10 years. He is a perfect GP, storic, efficient and very professional. He listens attentively and give you sensible advice. He is like a bacon in your sick and hazy days.

I just visited him as he is in my AIA network. I found Dr Cheung to be methodical, a good listener, and also very precise in both his diagnosis and recommended treatment. Just remember to bring your own mask to the waiting room or you’ll get a bit of a stern reminder from the front desk!

Dr. Cheung is my go-to general practitioner. It’s unfortunate to see the negative reviews but I will say that he is quite ethical and real about his observations and will try his best to help your situation in an empathetic but realistic way. I have been going to him for 2 years now, as well as my bf and have referred many friends and coworkers who have nothing but positive things to say about him.
