Yuen Long is part of the Yuen Long District in the New Territories. Some rural spots in the New Territories have infrequent buses and minibuses and earlier last services, so check timetables for buses, minibuses, the MTR or the Light Rail first; village addresses sometimes give only the village name and house number, so map navigation helps. Sai Kung's seafood and piers, Yuen Long's traditional pastries and street snacks and the border towns near Shenzhen each have their own character. Yuen Long is famous for traditional pastries such as wife cakes, its town centre is full of snack shops, and several malls cluster around the Tuen Ma Line station.

Rude. Bad service. Inspector was smoking . Left my car on idle after inspection. Did not switch off engine. A guy was sleeping at the reception counter. Never go there again.

I came in 2022 on a Saturday morning for car MOT. All done in a swift left in 30mins! Coming back today 15/02/2023, 😀 so happy, I came in and the security guard at the entrance asked if I had sms appointment, if not they won’t inspect my car, but I came in anyway and didn’t need to, so be careful just go to the office and they will inspect the car (think the guy thought I was China 🇨🇳 car🤷♀️) nice chatty lady (Lily) in the office helpful she was👍👍👍 oh remember it’s cash only $585💵

Bad attitudes all around, but gets the job done. You kind of have to know what to do as the instructions are posted somewhere unnoticeable. Would make sense for them to number the offices so you know what order.

Their system is not great. If it’s you first time there, you probably will end up spending 4 hours just getting your car inspected. Price were extremely high as they are a monopoly.
