Causeway Bay is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Causeway Bay is packed with malls and department stores and is very crowded at weekends; nearby Victoria Park hosts the Lunar New Year fair.

No idea how I found this place but my goddd this is the best meal I’ve had in HK, proper authentic rice dish, more than generous portions and the flavours are just perfect. Super cheap, super staff! 10/10 🙌🏼🏆

A classic local spot for comforting and delicious congee. The porridge is smooth, rich, and freshly made, with generous toppings and great flavor. Simple, authentic, and satisfying—perfect for breakfast or a light meal. Friendly service and a true taste of local Hong Kong comfort food.

A proper authentic place to get some congee or as I call it juk! Lovely place filled with locals. They didn't seem to speak English at all so I did struggle with ordering at first but eventually made it happen. I got shredded pork and salted egg with a yutiao on the side. The portion was HUGE i felt so bad leaving half my food but I was just so full and off to the airport after. It was delicious and tasted just like my por por makes it. I would love to come back on an extremely empty stomach. The food itself was very affordable!

They only had sweetened soy milk. The congee and youtiao were about average with big portions. They forgot to give me fried noodles we ordered which was for the better because we were so full. They accept Octopus.

Very very good place for congee and rice rolls! The bonus is the deep fried sesame ball 😋. Price is so much better than mall prices 😅. $25 HKD for great tasting pork with preserved congee is great value 👍. Glad my brother in law brought us here.
