great congee - had the century egg (pidan), pig liver (zhugan), and fish slices congee. congee was thick and creamy, and pig liver slices were nice and thick. also had the youtiao, chee cheong fun (rice rolls) and soya bean, which was very nice. overall great authentic experience and very affordable.

Authentic Hong Kong establishment - locals more so than tourism - which is awesome. Probably the best youtiao I’ve had - was craving some, and found this humble little spot. Cheap, fast, and delicious! Not a lot of seating, very ‘in and out’ vibe.

I visit here every year this is the most delicious congee i have ever tasted in hongkong they make it one by one. The best in hong kong😂 ❤️❤️

I love eating at this kind of old school establishments in Hong Kong. Visited one morning to come here for congee breakfast. When I arrived the place was half full, within minutes it was already packed and we had to share tables. Looking at the menu, the main dish is the congee but there are so many variations to it. Wanted to try so many but I knew my stomach could only handle one. Took a while to finally decide on what I wanted. Seeing the next table also had the cheong fun with fritters, I also had to order it. I loved the Hong Kong style congee cause its so thick and gluey and so easy to eat. This one here is so smooth and they added in so many ingredients. They also like to put the meat raw to half cooked so the heat from the congee can cook the remaining of the meat. Loved the meat inside the congee in big chunks and portions. They are also very fresh and soft and so tender. I tried very hard to finish the entire bowl because of the size and how hot it was, then also struggled to finish the cheong fun with fritters. Ended the meal with a cold soya bean drink. Cheap and good, a hidden gem cause the shop is not facing the road but the wall of another building, so it's not that

Feeling a very authentic congee breakfast place. Quick service. I asked if the sweet donut is hot and they said yes. But it’s kind of cold with slight warm in the centre. A Bit disappointed. The fresh fish belly congee is delicious. The BBQ pork rice roll is freshly made and soft. The donut rice roll is good. Overall an enjoyable dining experience despite the very basic dining conditions.
