About 中信海味
鮑魚 海參 魚翅 花膠 批發零售
中信海味 is a dried seafood and herbal goods shop in Kennedy Town, Central and Western, at 176-188, 安邦大廈176-188 Des Voeux Rd W, Sai Wan, Hong Kong Island. Locals and visitors alike tend to check the same things before going, so this page brings together the practical details: where it is, how to get in touch, when it is open and how customers rate it.
At wet-market stalls meat, seafood and vegetables are often priced by the catty (斤) or tael (兩), and prices move with the season and the weather, while supermarkets mostly sell pre-packed, price-labelled goods. Alcohol may only be sold to people aged 18 or over, so you may be asked for ID. The days before Lunar New Year are the busiest of the year for markets and dried-seafood shops, and many stalls close for the first few days of the new year. When buying dried seafood or herbal goods, check the origin, grade and price per catty or tael, and ask for a receipt.
Opening hours: Mon 09:30–05:30, Tue–Sat 09:30–17:30, Sun 09:30–16:00. It opens every day of the week. Many small businesses close for a few days around Lunar New Year and may shut early or not open during typhoons and black rainstorms, so check the latest news before you set off. You can call 2803 1908; a phone call is the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or how to get there.
At 4.0 out of 5 on Google (282 reviews), it sits mid-table; the written reviews say more about service, prices and waiting times than the number does.
Kennedy Town is part of the Central and Western District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving. Hong Kong summers are hot and humid, and typhoons and rainstorms come mostly in summer and autumn; when the Observatory issues signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning, many businesses close until it is lifted.

Great place to buy dried seafood and goods. Lots of selection and prices like some of the goods like dried scallops big or small are way cheaper than those you get in Singapore. Dried salted fish here are of a reasonable price but they are of a good quality. Some stalls are more honest than others.

Walk to everyshop to find the cheapest deal. Remember to take train which bring you to the middle of the street

Traditional dry seafood market with plentiful varieties at very reasonable abd affordable prices. Dry scallop and shrimp particularly recommended.

"Dried Seafood Street" is full of heritage, with hundreds of family-run dried seafood stores handed downed from generation to generation. Worth a visit even not shopping for these Chinese delicacies.

Nice place for waking around to feel the history of hk a little. I believed sooner or later all historical places will be all disappeared due to shortage of land
