Mong Kok is part of the Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. Mong Kok is one of Hong Kong's busiest shopping districts: Tung Choi Street (the Ladies' Market) and Fa Yuen Street (Sneakers Street) are lined with small shops, and the buildings along Nathan Road hold countless upstairs shops.

🥚 Son-in-Law Eggs Let's start with the showstopper. The presentation alone is gorgeous, but the real star is the sauce. It’s this incredibly unique blend of tangy, subtly sweet, and just a hint of spice. Combine that flavor with the perfectly soft-boiled, molten runny yolk... it is the ultimate satisfying mouthful! 🥗 Thai Spicy Beef Salad If you love Tom Yum, this is calling your name! 🌶️ The zesty, sour-spicy herb dressing is so vibrant and refreshing. The beef was cooked slightly rare—melt-in-your-mouth tender but still giving you that satisfying chew. Such a fresh and brilliant pairing! 🌿 🥩 Grilled Pork Neck You can’t have Thai food without this! 🔥 The quality of the meat is unreal—super juicy with that perfect bouncy, springy texture. It comes with a tangy Thai chili dipping sauce that perfectly balances the richness of the pork. I could honestly eat a whole plate of this by myself and not feel heavy at all! 🍚 Beef Fried Rice Listen... sometimes the simplest things are the hardest to master, and this rice blew my mind. 🤯 Just a hint of sweet soy sauce, a dash of pepper, and from the very first spoonful, you just know it’s top-tier. The flavor of the rice itself was so incred

It was in the middle of the day, so prices were lower for some dishes. Had the Beef Fried Rice and it was excellent, along with a Papaya salad and a mega tasty iced tea. All in all 101 HKD. Recommend!

The Thai dishes at the restaurant are delicious, but I was a bit surprised that such a good place wasn’t too crowded — even around lunchtime, there wasn’t a long wait. I tried the tom yum soup, the beef dish, and the fried rice — all of them were satisfying. The Thai tea wasn’t too sweet, therefore I really liked it. The restaurant has a strong Thai vibe, the food was served fairly quickly, and the lunch set with free longan tea was also quite nice. Highly recommended 👍🏻👍🏻

I love exploring the restaurants tucked away around the corners of Ladies’ Market—they’re always full of surprises! Recently, I caught up with an ex-colleague who’s obsessed with Thai food (Thailand trips are practically her religion), so a Thai restaurant was the perfect spot for our reunion. Despite some booths and shops making these restaurants feel a bit hidden, the buzzing crowds and dinner queues are a dead giveaway for spots worth trying. This place stood out with its vibrant green door and window frames—impossible to miss! The decor, with its Thai flair and subtle vintage vibes, instantly won me over. The food did not disappoint. On one of the hottest days recently, their lime green tea soda was a refreshing lifesaver—perfectly balanced, not too sour, and even better with less ice. The fried prawn cakes from the snack menu were a highlight—crispy, not greasy, and packed with bouncy, flavorful shrimp. My ex-colleague raved about the sweet corn and shrimp salad, with its tangy, spicy, and slightly sweet kick. It was the perfect dish to lift our spirits after a long, hectic workday in the sweltering heat, bringing our catch-up vibes to life. Definitely a spot to revisit for mo
