The environment is good. I feel comfy to sit inside in the summer in hk. The pork chunk is tasty, but the beef is very hard to chew. Why are they using cheap meat to serve customers? It ruined my lunch experience totally. I wanna get a refund for the Mince beef. It doesn’t deserve 5 stars because they are using cheap meat. They assume customers cannot identify the meat used for mince beef/pork. It’s totally wrong. Customers are not idiots. There are many Thai restaurants in Mongkok. Its price range is above the average but the quality is below average. The service is fine, but the food isn’t. The quality is worse than Fairwood. Edit for the replying the merchant: Thanks for the reply. No matter which beef did you used for the mince meat. Fascia is not chewable and should not be in the mince meat. I will come and try again. Hope to see the improvement in the future ;)

Authentic Thai food restaurant opened in Mong Kok Tung Choi Street for 6 months and many support from Thai and overseas customers. Pork knuckle rice is lovely, tender pork knuckle with soft rice that soaks the vinegar sauce. Mango smoothies is fresh and soothing.

Great find at Ekkamai on Tung Choi Street (G/F, 36 Tung Choi Street) — just 2 mins from Mong Kok MTR Exit E2. Tried the pad ka prow and satay. Generous portions but a not affordable prices (around $100-200 per person), and the street-style vibe feels like Bangkok. Friendly service, lively atmosphere. Perfect for craving real Thai street food without crossing the border. Highly recommend!

Finally found authentic Thai food in Mong Kok! Volcano Pork Ribs ($162) Massive pork ribs piled like a mountain, covered in spicy & sour green sauce. Grilled Pork Skewers ($68/3 sticks) Juicy, fatty, grilled to perfection with great char. Satay sauce is rich and creamy. Worth it! Thai Chicken Pad See Ew ($98) Flat noodles with good wok hei, slightly oily but tasty. Chicken is tender, comes with a crispy fried egg.

While it’s on the high side for a coconut, the freshness is undeniable. The sweet, chilled water offered a refreshing escape. It’s perfect for sipping while waiting for the main dishes. Mango Smoothies The mango smoothies were a highlight of the meal. Creamy and bursting with real mango flavor, these smoothies are a must-try.
